Dancer/Choreographer/Dance Teacher/Culture Producer
I am a dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher originally from Tokyo, Japan. After graduating from Arnhem Dans Academie in 2001, I began my professional career in Europe, performing with companies such as Norrdans, Skånes Dansteater, and Zappalà Danza. Since 2009, I have worked as a freelance dancer and choreographer, collaborating with various international ensembles. In 2013, I joined Nya Rörelsen, where I create dance productions inspired by my Japanese heritage and my life in Sweden. My work blends these cultural influences into a unique dance and theatre language that connects deeply with audiences.
