Wild Thing

Work-in-progress Feedback Session

Date: Thursday 9 October 2025
Time: 14:00–16:00 (with a break, drinks & snacks provided)
Location: Stenkrossen, Lund

About Wild Thing

Wild Thing is a prototype feedback session for choreographers, co-created and facilitated by Rumiko Otsuka (RUM I DANS) and Rani Nair (Embassy of Movement).

The session offers a unique space where choreographers, audiences, and peers can come together to:

  • Share and reflect on works-in-progress (10–15 minutes)
  • Engage in moderated feedback conversations
  • Build a culture of dialogue, openness, and mutual learning in the performing arts field

Our vision is to create a feedback format that is currently missing in the field — a space where artistic processes can be made visible, valued, and developed through exchange.

Why participate?

  • Choreographers: Get fresh perspectives on your work, experiment with feedback methods, and connect with peers.
  • Audience members (artists & non-artists): Experience how choreographers work behind the scenes, and take part in meaningful conversations.
  • Stakeholders & institutions: Gain insight into artistic processes and discover how to better support artists in their development.

Call for Artists

We are looking for 2–3 choreographers to share short works-in-progress (10–15 min).

  • After each showing, a 20–30 min moderated feedback session with all participants.
  • If we receive more applications than possible, a selection will be made.

Join as Audience

Not showing work? You are warmly welcome to participate as an audience member and join the conversations.

Practical Information

  • Free entry
  • Snacks & drinks provided
